Subject: Red Eye - Originality?

I heard a guest panelist, Lisa Bernhard, state that she hates roses because they show no originality.

OK.

Like E! and FNC are springboards for pumping out originality.

You know what would make Red Eye more original and authentic?
First of all if within the 2am - 3am time slot in which it is on, when a viewer is tuning-in, the viewer would see the little "Live" tag in one of the screen's corners.

Secondly, how about a segment called "the Bong Show" ... which would be a little Gong Show and a little Idol. The panelists assemble and there's a giant bong filled w/ water (I think that's called a water-bong) and then they bring out everyday people looking to get some type of break, acknowledgment, validation and self worth from the big corporate cookie cutter machine (E!, Fox?) - and when the contestants really suck (like all the ones on Idol - even the ones on Idol that win or come close = because they're all gunning for a synthetic cheesy facade of corporate cookies cutter rock stardom) well, then, the panelists reach for the bong and for a big hit to "bong" the contestant off the show. If the contestant is good, then they don't get "bong-ed" and are winners.

Dig it.

Best of the Roses,
