You might wanna know someday
Just where it all goes and goes
You might wanna know someday
You might wanna open those doors

On the 4th of July we were so high – so high
I’m sorry I passed you without saying “hi”
I felt so good – I wanted to die – wanted die
That’s why I left you without saying “bye”

Good bye – good bye – good bye – bye -

Old inflictions I carried down the road
It’s turning September and looking gold
The gold of September along the road
In a dream I remembered – autumn gold

We were so happy in Happy Valley, PA
The Skull House was tapped by the D.A.
His daughter spilled the beans right away
Still no one stayed clean not even for a day

You might wanna know someday
Just where it all goes and goes
You might wanna know someday
You might wanna open those doors

I’m moving forward – I’m moving on
I’m writing poems and corny songs
Nothing too wasted or too long
I’m here where I need to belong

And everyday is an everyday romance
Love or hate I sing along the fence
Everyday I’m grateful for what I sense
Rolling like thick clouds of incense

Hey….yeah, yeah, yeah….
Hey….yeah, yeah, yeah….
Hey….yeah, yeah, yeah….
Hey….hey, hey….yeah….

You might wanna know someday
Just where it all goes and goes
You might wanna know someday
You might wanna know someday
