Such a Special Girl

You were in my dreams last night
What a sweet dream – Such a special girl
I hugged you because I missed you
Just from morning to late afternoon – I couldn’t
Stand it without you – Not seeing you
Our hug felt like an eternity – two halves as one
I watched while you blew your hair dry and
You prancing around and just talking and talking
I lie in bed feeling so fortunate to have you
You represent a harbor in a dark tempest
-         A ball of sun in a dark and lonely sky –
The only problem is you are not mine.
I was only dreaming –
My tears are still streaming…
What a sweet dream –
Such a special girl
