i'm never one to complain about Pittsburgh - I've been travel ling since i was born and have seen allot of other cities and towns - allot of assholes complain about Pittsburgh but they are usually ones who never made it out or just like to complain to sound more important like they know something better - Yet, I know, a). the grass isn't greener on the other side and b). my father told me that if i searched it out i could find what i am craving here and if it's not here yet - if i was a real man i would bring those people and things to me here and help create what i long for -

 

if it wasn't for Rusted Root http://www.rustedroot.com and Mr. Smalls http://www.mrsmalls.com and a circle of friends committed to the scene and for people like Mario Lemuiex, etc.. maybe i'd feel differently about Pittsburgh - However, i look around at what people are going through around the country and it makes me love PA and Pittsburgh even more - and our Sewickley too

 

Pittsburgh has always had allot to offer its folks and the rest of the country and world and it most certainly still does

 

Moreover, one of the best living American poets lives in Pittsburgh/Sewickley and like to write in to Fox & Friends
