I

Newspapers Not Enough to Read

They walked off stage

She walked by the flowers

-smiling

30,000 people well energized

The sounds of lapping water

-warf rats

-screaming guitars

Filled w/ light and off and into nite.

I drank the wine from Sonoma

It had hints of blackberry & pepper

Its nose led me to Washington

-up the coast

-the Pacific North West

In Washington state I found him

He was on the beach - sitting on a tree

With one of his legs dangling

There was a certain mood about this

-water lapping

-screaming guitars

Our voices vibrating together

-a united chant

-protective in peril
