American Beauty

His heart hung up in the sky

Along with zillions of stars

Softly blinking – Radiant –

For all to see and openly feel

She knew it was there – She

Knew his love for her – And

Wherever she was all she had

To do is think of his pure heart.

When the roses bloom again

He is there with the spring rain

Washed through running rivers

And in the late sun in full bloom

 - American Beauty – at its best

With tour buses roaring like tigers

Certain singers howling like wolves

Knowing the heart hung in the sky

He is gratefully alive – living dead –

Along with zillions of stars

Softly blinking – Radiant –

For all to see and openly feel

They know he is there – They

Know his love for them – And

Wherever they are all they have

To do is think of his pure heart.

$$$$$$Dedicated to my friends,

the best of the roses

and Mr. Jerry Garcia$$$$$$
