I got drunk at a bar

            three or four times

And I spit on some mime those

            three or four times

Well, there’s no talkin’ back

and that’s a fact about that

Well, I got drunk at some bar

            three or four hundred times

There’s a train up in the sky

            riding on so high

I sat and watched and waved

            as it passed by

Friendly faces with big smiles

            ain’t gonna stop & stay a while

Well, there’s a train riding on by

She finally caught my attention

            and it felt pretty good

You know I could really love you

            and I know I would

Yeah, I can really love you

            and I knew I would

Yeah, now, honey, I really love you

            and it feels pretty good

It feels pretty good

It feels pretty good

            So damn’ good

Yeah, it feels pretty good

Just like it should

You know it’s good

It’s all feelin’ good

Oh, I’m the one flying high

            just like I should

Life ain’t gonna pass me by

            and you know it could

Yeah, we’re flying high

            like you knew we would

So, thanks for the lessons – they

            were hard but good

And now I feel pretty good

And it feels pretty good

            Just like it should

Like you knew it would

It feels pretty good

It feels pretty good

Yeah, it feels pretty good
