last night i had a dream that i was walking w/ juliet and although she was slightly taller it didn't matter when i caught a shot of us from straight on as we proceeded through the doorway of an italian restaurant where we shown to a special reserved table in which juliet's mother was already sitting. she was as delightful as her daughter and we discussed billie holiday, ella fitzgerald, etta jones and i shared my liking of two women who emulate that sound - lavay smith from san francisco and katherine whalen of north carolina -
