Subject: Gitmo and War in Iraq
To: friends@foxnews.com

Being somewhat "middle of the road" I usually refrain from getting "in the mix" and going "tit for tat." However, the War in Iraq must continue and must continue without a date to cut & run. And as a matter of fact, we need more offensives in Iraq and in that region as a whole. This is way serious - Those people have been enculturated to hate us and want to kill us - And they'll brainwash anyone willing to hear their call.

As far as Gitmo goes, I don't think it needs to be closed. Yet, on the otherhand, former President Bill Clinton makes a good point by saying that the stories of abuse out of there must stop. That's a nice middle of the road, diplomatic way to say - get your sh*t together.

Moreover, these topics do not pull me in as much as innocent people being imprisoned in the U.S. for victimless crimes like reefer charges - where these folks become victimized and raped.

Not to mention, I am very concerned that busting people for reefer will continue to be a divert important resources from tracking down and preventing real threats. If we police something, let's do a better job in polciing real threats to ourselves like terror as opposed to stupid reefer or Kool-Aid.

Wake up! V.P. Cheney and the boys should have been more concerned w/ who was plotting against us then busting hippies to please Nixon and following John Lennon around and trying to keep him out of the U.S. because they felt Mr. Lennon was a threat to the Vietnam War.

Wake up! Let's protect ourselves from real threats.
